Most lowland places in Panama are always warm and how comfortable it is depends on the humidity. The best weather at La Peregüeta is normally from December until March when it is dry, or until the rains begin. December and January have traditionally been the best months because the north winds bring cooler weather. During the dry months you should wear very light clothing, always a hat, and use lots of sun protection. During the rainy months, keep a raincoat and an umbrella handy. There is absolutely no reason to have to wear a sweater.
